Hi everyone.
I have been using Skype now for ages and love it - both in and out!
So, when I found Skypecast - I was over the moon.
I spent hours l2 nights ago listening and chatting in 2 or 3 of the rooms and met some wonderful people.
Then yesterday - I downloaded V3. Wow, now it will all be easy as all the various buttons are there and I won't have to chat to the host to let me in etc:)
WRONG!

Now, I can navigate beautifully but when I join a Skypecast - I have anything between 5-95 seconds - then the connection to the skypecast closes and I am back looking a the various casts available to me.
I haven't spoken to anyone or even asked to speak. Just minded my own business and listened.

So, I contacted support.
They responded very promptly and I have done everything their 3 different mails have suggested.
Nothing changed.

Now, I have uninstalled 3 and re-installed 2.5 - I will wait and see if this at least lets me listen - even if without the buttons.
......................or does someone have a better idea??? smile.png please wink.png)))

Thanks in advance for your ideas...

Do you own a Dualphone? There's a bug with Skype 3.0 and Dualphone which causes it to hangup during a call (particularly bad with Skypecast calls). There's a possibility that it could affect other USB handsets, although none have been reported at the moment.

Yes, I do.
I will unplug it later and see if that resolves the problem - I shall get back to you on that one:)
Thanks for the thought:)

I unplugged the phone from the usb and now have perfect connectivity for skypecast.

Thank you again for your help

I'm happy to help. The Dualphone is "Skype Certified" so the bug should be gone when Skype 3.0 is released from beta.
