I know I can get the skype for arm hardware platform. but it is for window mobile OS.
Does skype plan to or already support arm hardware with linux OS?

I am sorry, but I get nothing.
and I think there is no skype for arm hardware with linux OS.

I highly doubt that would happen at many levels.

Main reason: the Linux version development on the x86 architecture is slow enough.

Hi, what's a progress in development of ARM version of skype (API) ?
Could you inform community when to wait a release ?

PS: I would like to port skype or API to IXP425 embedded platform

There's maemo branch for Nokia MIDs (N810 was still available some time ago, we'll see how N900 will go) in the official Nokia repos:
packages here sadly, it's v1.7..

With N900 out, I'm sure there will be more movement.
If not - there are other options, like gizmo.

I, too, would really like to see an ARM Linux port! wondering.png
There are now many fast (1 GHZ+) ARM-based Linux single board computers available under $100. I would prefer to use one of these boards to run a Skype client instead of my PC.

Is it possible/straightforward to recompile the Linux i386 port and target the ARM architecture instead? For example, Ubuntu ARM 32-bit?
