I have a Logitech Sphere MP (aka Orbit) and when I adjust the colours using the Logitech Quickcam tools, my blue shirt is blue.

When I open Skype and open [Test Webcam] via [Tools] - [Options] - [Video (BETA)], my blue shirt it green and nothing I can do will change it.

The colour filter option in the QuickCam Sphere MP are bad. This is no Skype error. Do not adjust the colour in the software, keep it on default and all should be fine. (I use the same camera).

If it's still not good, check whether you use the latest drivers/software for the camera.

That's odd, because the picture looks fine in the Logitech QuickCam tools and if I take a picture, it also looks good.

If I test it in Windows Live Messenger it also look fine.

It's only when I'm in Skype that it's the wrong colours.

About a month ago, I downloaded the latest software and drivers from Logitech. I just checked and there's nothing newer.

Thanks anyway.

I am using DX 9.0C (4.09.0000.0904) and I believe the latest software had the latest drivers, but I'll check and let you know.

I am using 2.6ßeta, which is why I'm posting in this forum (Skype for Windows 2.6 Beta).

Once again, thanks for your help and patience.

You are welcome.
So please report it as a bug in the Jira database I mentioned in my latest reply. This way Raul Liive from Skype will know it and this way they can work on fixing this problem.

Screenshots and Log Files(one is trace, one is log, you have to copy the trace file before you can upload to the bug report) should be attached to your bug reports, too

By the way: DirectX gets updated almost every 1-2 months by monthly redist. packages.

Did a bit more testing and checking and what I see in the Logitech QuickCam tools is the same as what other people I call see. It appears that the wrong colours only show up when looking at Webcam Settings via Skype.

I'm not going to worry about reporting it, as what I see in the Logitech tools is what call recipients see and that's all that matters.

It's odd that it's different but it's not different where it counts.

Again thanks for bearing with me.

It's anyway a bug and it should be reported. Only this way, bugs can be fixed by Skype. This way you also help other users. Since it's you experienceing the bug, only you can report it.
I would be glad, if you would please report, even if it's "not-so-big".

Thank you
