Hye,

I am running:

Linux Debian Etch kernel 2.6.15
Skype : 1.2.0.18
Pentium III: 450Mz

I start skype with: $aoss skype
When I call echo 123 , I can hear the voice but
after a few seconds, I got the error message:
read error, res = 376 , handle = 30

and no more sound.

Where is the problem? What can I do to find the problem?
Is it a problem, with adsl speed, whith my cpu...?

skype 1.2 is very old, try the new beta 1.3.0.50

yes, you should avoid 1.2.0.18, that version is more "BETA" than 1.3.0.50 BETA

also try installing 1.3.0.57

If something doesn't work, usually, you should look to install the latest version.
