There is very often no ring tone for incoming calls.

got the same prbl; what to do ??

I have the same problem as well. The old veresion of Skype worked PERFECTLy for me, and now that I've installed the new one (1.5) it's been messing up all the time: calls get dropped, there's often no ringing sound for incoming calls --though it works once in awhile-- and when people call my SkypeIn, they say it goes to my voicemail right away even though I am logged in!!

Try to select Classic ringtone inside Notification Preferences, please. Is much more louder than others.
