Hey all,

I've already developed my own test client to make sure I can do the simple things like connect
and ping the connection etc.. Everything is fine there.

However, I get into developing my real client and I connect ok. No issue there.

Then I try to ping the conenction and I get a message from Skype of PING instead of PONG.
Also disconnects after that and if I reconnect Skype ignores me.

Has anyone ever seen this?

It sounds as if you are really looking at your request when you see the "Ping", Skype will timeout your connection if you do not answer in a timely manner, it seems that is what is going on in your case.

You could use something like SkypeTracer to see what the normal flow should be like.
