i cant get skype to work at all i tryed artsdsp skype and that did not work
my audio driver is i810_audio sound card is Intel Corporation|82801AA 810 Chipset AC'97 Audio Controller [MULTIMEDIA_AUDIO]
this looks like a really nice app i want it to work

I suppose that your audio configuration is ok. If you use KDE, execute Kmix and check if the microphone is quite active (active the red button and increase the sound level). After it is possible that you are an bad option in Kmix: test various combinations.

ok yes the mic is active i can hear it fine i tryed turning on and off dif things did not work in kmix still no sound back from the echo123 service what ells could it be?

I have MDK 10.0 too.

Open the root-Konsole and run alsaconf-script:

alsaconf

After that all work correctly. Maybe wink.png
