Hi ,

I am wondering if some one can help

I would like to run skype on about 6 different Pc's within my company.
We have a dealer network so i take it, as long as they have our Skype name(s) they will be able to get in touch

Now, is there a possibility to have a Skype server (skype installed once and calls directed from this to each individual). If one person is talking can the call go to a (selected) free line automatically ?
Is it safe, How easy is it hack into the skype line?

I will have loads more questions to ask when i think of them so if there is a place already dedicated to companys please could somone direct me ?

The answer is not solve the question. he try to use:

The trick is having all your operators use a single shared Skype Name.
So when a call comes in, the Skype client of each operator starts to ring. As soon as the first of them picks up the call, the ringing stops for others too (they will see a “missed call” event, but more about this later).

The question is if skype can run at server and provide the call route service for more people?

If you install Skype on a server as a gateway, it would only give you "call forwarding" capabilities. You could repeat the forwarding at each operator, so the unanswered call is forwarded to the next operator. This may not be an ideal solution as it introduces a single point of failure (the gateway).

So are you saying that my skype account can receive unlimited simultaneous calls and even if I am talking to someone I can receive another call? Is this the same if i am forwarding my skype calls to my call center that has a real phone number?
