It's in the name: video preview.
It seems they decided to rename 1.5 video preview to 2.0 beta and then make 1.5 final without video.
Does seem like that. Just read the announcement here in this forum.
Installed beta 2.0. At first I couldn't get it to chat, but it seems to be working well. The CPU usage is under 40% (T1 line connection).

I sense that you know the answer to my question but are not telling me. I still don't know what the difference is between the preview and the beta???
And...
Is 1.5.0.77 preview the same as 2.0 beta with a different name?
Should I download 2.0 beta if my preview version is working flawlessly?

Beta 2.0 is the latest version. See announcement posted in the forum (on the top, above the discussion topics here).
