While developing my Skype Chat application, I sometimes use echo123 for testing, since it's alwys on line. Sometimes it works perfectly.

However, mostly it doesn't actually respond to my messages. Also, when connecting through the Skype Client, it sometimes gives me a message about how it's using a version of the Skype Client that doesn't allow multi-person chats, and I can't add others to the chat.

I dont care about the multi-person chat yet. Is there something about the echo123 service that I shoudl know? Like, it can only participate in one chat world-wide, and so it's just luck if I manage to actually grab it?

Ideally, for testing chat applications, you should create a real chat, you can even do this by doing a run As and using 2 Skype Names, this will make your testing more real-life, and allow you to also do multi-chat, by using 3 Skype names using run As also.

But shouldn't echo123 be available for this purpose as well? After all, it is a Test account/bot - it's frustrating that it works sometimes and not other...

Anyhow, you've just answered another question, which was how to run more than one client - I'd never have thought of using Run as... Thanks!
