Hi,

As a part of my improve Skype on Linux series comes another request:

When will Linux (and Mac OS, for that matter) users get Skype SMS?

As I stated earlier: Mac OS and Linux users want to waste their money too!

Great bazooka of Cabo san Luca! you weren't kidding about "waste their money"! I just checked the rates, and in the US, it was still cheaper to send and receive SMSes on my cell phone *without* an SMS plan... 'Course now I have one of those newfangled "smart" phone/quasi-PDAs, and a monthly "everything included" plan, so IMs on AIM/MSN/Y!, SMS, and email (as well as web surfing and *ahem* ssh) are all included.

Im not putting any more money into my skype account until I get sms.

And no, im not BUYING a copy of windows just so I can sms.
