Trying to use imported ringtones (wav files), causes a crash in Skype, invoking the Microsoft error reporting dialog.
Others have reported distortion with imported ringtones. My case is worse!
Using Windows XP PRO with SP2, Soundmax4 sound on an ASUS motherboard.

What enconding are you using for this wav file?
