Hi guys,
I've found a small problem that the developpers might be interested in. I didn't see it anywhere else on this forum, so here it is:
I'm using the latest Skype beta (0.91.0.3) on SuSE Linux 9.1. My hardware is a 2Ghz PIV with about 400 MB of RAM and a Sound Blaster Live 1024 sound board.
After a few days testing, I've now a pretty good sound in Skype (running it with "artsdsp -m skype" from a terminal). By the way, I had to switch to OSS in Kde Control Center.
Well, when I start Skype and call echo123 or even try a SkypeOut call, most of the time it works great. The issue is, if I wait 10 or 15 minutes doing nothing on the PC (I have a laptop too and I often work on it while the other PC is doing nothing), then call echo123 again, I get some blanks (I hope this is the good word :-) ). Leave Skype, restart it immediatly, everything works again.
As you can imagine this isn't a very big problem but I thought you'd like to know it.
Seb.
