Hello,

I bought Yealink USB Skype Diverter MODEL: USB-B3G from amperordirect about 50 days back. The unit worked excellent for ~30 days, but now its dead. crying.png sadsmile.png

The unit is not getting recognized by skypemate/computer. However two lights diverter and phone are on. Skypemate just giving this message "please connect usb phone first"

I changed USB cable, tried it on other PCs/laptop, but no result. Any suggestion what might have gone bad. nerd.png

Also, any suggestion for any other USB diverter sadsmile.png

Hi Neo!

Sorry to see you are having issues. If the unit is not funcitioning on multiple computeres, by not being found, on multiple computers then you probably have a unit that has died.

I think we have issued an RMA, right? Please advise as I would like to take a look at it... Yealink units are solid, not sure why yours failed but will try to 'dissect' the issue when it gets back to us.

Did you have any type of electrical storm?

Hi,

Todd or Sheila will contact you on Monday to provide a return authorization number for an exchange to another B3G unit.

We stand behind our products and will make sure you get a working unit that lasts longer than 60 days.

I had a similar problem with the USB Skype Diverter saying connect the USB device first. The solution for me was to go to
http://www.yealink.com/en/download.asp?tag=skype
and download the latest SkypeMate driver that was compatible with Windows Vista as the one supplied on the CD with the diverter was not.
