Greetings!

I'm using skype4com and I have a problem regarding conferences, here's the situation:
i have an app that must create a conference between two people (one of them is for sure a regular phone user and the other could be a skype user.). Since my app creates the conference (and that's the scenario) i get to be the host. Is it possible to leave the conference even though i'm the host, without destroying the conference?
I haven't found anything regarding that situation. Does one of the other conference participants get to be the host instead?

What really happens? And is it possible to leave, anyway?

Thanks a lot.

anybody can help me on that?

I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

I don't think this can be done on a local conference because all the traffic is routed through the host. Also, if the host could start a conference and disconnect, then this might introduce a billing issue for any SkypeOut calls in the conference.

thanks very much!
You're totally right..i wonder how i didn't think about that...

can a conference take place if i'm using skype (the caller) and the other two are using common/mobile phones?

I don't know if there's a limit to the number of SkypeOut phones in a conference, but it certainly works for me with 2 other people on landlines. This is via the Skype GUI, so it should be possible via Skype4COM.

Perhaps you could test it using some toll-free numbers?
