Full Version: Deleting groups?

Hello everyone,

I feel a bit stupid asking this, but I just can't figure out a solution: How do I delete groups (like the "ungrouped budddies" group) on the contact list?

I'm using the latest Skype Beta on Ubuntu 6.06.

EDIT: Ok, I just realised that right-clicking on a group and choosing "remove group" works for every group except the "ungrouped buddies" group. So my question is now: Can you somehow remove the "ungrouped buddies" group?

Hello ~

Not a stupid qyestion ...

The reason that the "ungrouped" folder can not be removed fron Skype is because it is the default folder (i.e. you didn't create it, nor can you edit it in any way).

Subsequently, Skype has intentionally associated "read only" privilleges to this folder to preclude its alteration.

Cheers!
