Hi bill, Thanks for the reply, Am I reading it correctly that your not quite understanding what I am asking by "ill defined" or do you mean somthing else? If so please explain.
To try and re ask the same thing: What I am after is a Skype server component that I can run on my file server, so it's avalible 24/7 and can attach a handset to. Then I would like to be able to manipulate it from skype clients running on client PC's in the house(it's running on a server, don't want to have to get on the console to do anything). With the clients also acting as "extentions" so calls can be passed around eg call is answered on the master handset then transfered to Skype on a laptop in the bedroom, or can be directly answered by one of the skype clients. This would be with all the clients also having there own indevidual skype logins(users) loged in along side the "house number" so they for instance I can still recive calls to my own skype user ID as well.
Not interested in hardware soloutions, no need for it, should be a feature that can be implimented in software. Would be nice to see somthing along these lines in a future release of Skype.
