I tryed uses on my notebook but the sounds is very bad, i can list and talk, but the sound is skipping. I have a broadband connection ADSL (256/128)
I'm using Slackware 9.1, KDE 3.2.3, Alsa 1.0.6rc1, but i try 1.0.5. Kernel 2.6.7
My lspci show this multimedia controller:
00:08.0 Multimedia audio controller: ESS Technology ES1988 Allegro-1 (rev 12)
In Windows this hardware is working fine with skype.
I has tryed many configurations but with no results.
I install Skype in the same OS/Software plataform but the hardware differs, with a Ensoniq 5880 Audio PCI (Creative 128), this configuration is working fine.
Anyone have this problem?
