Hi, does anyone know an add-in for Skype that will automatically call-back someone when your call with them gets dropped? I'm on ADSL and this happens fairly often, and all i have to do is call the person back and we're instantly back on the call. but its pretty irritating to have keep hitting the call button again and again. Is there some way to automate this?

You may be much better off trying to isolate the reason why this is going on then to create a subsystem to deal with the problem.

You can use this example to review in detail your call history to see why these calls terminated.

Please let us know what your findings are.

I tried out the page (had to do quite a bit of fiddling with IE7 to make it work). Out of 303 calls, 302 have the Failure reason as Misc error, while one of them has it marked as No common codec found. Most of these have the status listed as Finished, though the status I always get is an abrupt Dropped.

None of this makes too much sense to me

How many of these actually contain a phone number that could be used to call back?
