I really loved the old quickfiltering, it gave me freedom. Now I have to remember how my contact starts. Somethimes a contacts is "one two", earlier i wrote "two" and it was easy and ok, now i have to write from the beginning. I think they should leave it as it was or just make an option that everyone can change.
This is not exactly accurate, new quickfiltering works from the beginning of each word, so if your contact is named John Smith for example you could write either John or Smith. Older version permitted to filter like writting "mith" would have resulted in Smith too. In longer contact lists this behaviour resulted in a lot of false positives (errors) and finding the person took longer (as you'd have to insert more letters).
So what I'm asking is this: In what situations (concrete examples) does this new limitation hinder you from finding a contact. I'm particularily interested in non latin/chirilic languages, cause I have to admit I'm not familiar with how you find names.
Best regards,
