I have developed a software application which acts as client to Skype, when i run the progam for the first time i get the dialog "Another program wants to use Skype", the security question.

If i got the Verisign certificate for my program, can i avoid this question posed by Skype?

Can any one throw some light on this?

My aim is to avoid this question when i run my application for the first time.

No, this is for the protection of each Skype user.

So it is up to each Skype user to allow or dissallow your software to connect to their Skype Client, it is not based on programs having certificates.

Actually, this method gives Skype users much more control which is a good thing really.
