Good day!

I need to setup skype to use _remote_ sound card.
I have tested this on xmms (media player) and esd sever.
It works great.
My setup:
192.168.0.1 - server (no soundcard, xmms & skype runs here)
192.168.0.99 - thin client (with soundcard , esd daemon is started here).

How do i run xmms:

esddsp -s 192.168.0.99:PORT xmms
And i listen to a music on "client".

I have several such clients in local network.
All clients are "thin", so all applications are run on server.

I try do do the same with skype - no success.
I have enabled mixer support in esddsp ("-m" flag) - still the same.
I tried 1.2-18 version as well as 1.3 beta.
OS: Fedora Core 5

Have anyone managed to work skype with remote soundcards?
I have gooooogled about 2 days and read manuals for arts, alsa and so on but havent found an answer.

I DO HEAR startup beeps of esd server on client as well as "call started" in skype (sometimes) but echoing 123 produces no sound in headset.

Maybe there are solutions with arts or ALSA?

Please help and thanks in advance!
