The Universal Language Real-Time Message Translator was created because of the lack of any real facility to provide on-line language translation in real time.
In today's world with so many people from all over the world communicating there are many who would like to communicate with others in other countries but may not feel they have the language skills to do so.
The ULRTMT version for Skype has been created to help people using Skype not fear communicating with anyone world wide because of the lack of specific language skills for any given language.
This concept is a protected work and is currently in Beta testing. Currently the Skype version supports both Real-Time translation of Chat history, as well as inbound and outbound chat messages.
The ULRTMT can be used for many other things, which include but are not limited to converting chat history to your native language, communicating with others in Real-Time chats while having chat text received and sent translated in Real-time so that people can participate in a chat using their native language and many people using many different languages can be in the same chat, using many different languages, yet all understand each other without the need to know any of the other languages being used in the chat.
The ULRTMT Skype version was designed using the Skype4COM lib interface, we hope this will "Light a Fire" under all the developers to see just how flexible and friendly both the Skype4COM and API interfaces really are.
Your imagination is the only limit on what possible Skype interfaces you could design, we hope this awakens your creativity and helps motivate you to design some cool Skype interfaces.
Go to IE Tools -> Internet Options -> Security
Click on the Trusted Sites Icon, then click on the Sites button, make sure the require server verification box is NOT checked. In the Add this web site to the zone enter:
testing.onlytherightanswers.com
Click the add button, click ok. click ok again.
You are now ready to use the ULRTMT Skype version to instantly translate any of your chat history or translate languages in real-time in active chats. Refresh the ULRTMT Skype version web page or click here to get back to it:
http://testing.onlytherightanswers.com/sky...TMTforSkype.htm
If prompted to install the Skype4COM lib ActiveX, Please choose Install.
Once the page is displayed, click on the Refresh Chat Information button, on the left your entire chat history will be displayed, on the right any open ("Active Chats") you currently are in will be displayed. Simply click on the chat of your choice, and you will see the original chat text displayed in the right window, to translate any chat simply select the translation and re-click the chat you wish to have translated. You will see the messages being translated in real time, and once all chat messages have been translated, you will see the word complete.
Very soon, the ULRTMT for Skype version will also support SMS translation, we hope this shows you just how powerful the Skype developer interfaces are and hopefully you may even begin to learn a new language or two at your own pace of course.
Enjoy, any questions just post them here.
Thanks
