Apple OS 10.3 has an X11 interface capability. Is is possible to run the Linux version of Skype on Apple using that interface? If so, how? Please know that I am not very sophisticated as regards these things. The Skype for Linux download page is daunting. I would have no idea which version to pick, if any at all. Thanks for your help.

Hi
You cant use the linux versions, since they are compiled for i386+ processors....not for the PPC mac processors.
Even if they compile for PPC, you would still need linux on your mac to make it run.
Skype have however claimed for a long time, that a native mac version is in the works, so I guess you just have to wait and hope :-)
