Before the disastrous .com crash of the late 90s there was a voice communications .com called “firetalk.com”, which offered excellent sound quality (almost as good as Skype’s) and many features geared for business applications. One of these features was for the ability of a user or a group of users (up to 6 users) to “latch onto” to, shall we say“, tour guide” and the tour guide would take them to different web sites that the tour guide selected. All of the members of the group would automatically be presented, in there own browser’s, with a web site chosen by the leader.

During this tour, voice communication between all members of the group was of course possible. Anytime a member of the group wanted to leave, he or she simply clicked on a different URL or collapsed their browser. The business applications for this feature were tremendous and were an asset both for the clients of a business and the business which conducted this, again shall we say again tour.

Should Skype ever consider adding a feature, such as the aforementioned I would deeply appreciate being informed?

Regards,
Jaanus
You can already do the voice part of this with Skype's conferencing (up to 5 people at a time). The shared browsing is currently not a priority for us, although it may be added in more remote future.
