Hello, when I launch the program, the login fails and the following message is displayed:
Error 1108: too many failed login attempts, wait 10 minutes to retry

The password is the right one for sure (it works when I login on the web site), and awating even more than 10 mins before relaunching the program has no effect.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

probably you've got a "twin" who's trying to use same nickname (obviously one of you must be in error) and who's getting same error-msg all the time. :roll:
or someone is intentionally running a DOS/crack attempt
or you hit a bug in authentication server

I too am experiencing this problem when I am creating a new account, as I have not used Skype before.

I am using the beta version for linux.
