Hi Skypers,
Am stranded, am trying to install a linux rpm skype download but on running the rpm -ivh skype-1.2.0.18-suse.i586.rpm. It out puts the error below along side the installation.

warning: skype-1.2.0.18-suse.i586.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID d66b746e

On loging in, the options are all fainted & no positive result is reached.

Am running suse 9.3, kernel 2.6.11.4-20a-default.
Could one of the skypers have interfaced a simillar problem/error. And how do i resolve this
error??

probably
key ID d66b746e
is the public key of skype company. check this on the skype.com pages relating download and security. http://www.skype.com/download/skype/linux/...-public-key.asc
hence i guess it simply means "the rpm is digitally signed with private key d66b746e and i can't find NO public KEY to check the signature".
it anyway won't affect your skype installation whatsoever - as long as nobody managed to patch the packet you've downloaded. any problems on logging in are NOT related to this msg (again as long as...)

it's not an error, it's a warning. you resolve it by importing skype's public key or simply ignoring it - and checking for other reasons your problem with login might have.
