We did a bank transfer of £170 to Skype's bank over 3 weeks ago, and they can't find the money.
Every time I chase I just get a standard response to check again with my bank.
I have sent them the SWIFT transfer instruction to prove they have it, but they just can't find it, and SUPPORT is of no intelligent help, as I guess they are just over-loaded and send out unhelpful replies.
Any ideas on what to do, or even how to get the money refunded ?
Thanks

Sean,
Did you contact your bank to ask for a copy of their transfer to Skype?
Sometimes Banks take the money of the account for Skype to collecct it.
But if Skype does not collect it (for what ever reasons) it can take weeks before the Bank puts it back in your account.
If you get as copy or proof that the money was indeed booked to Skype accounts, please send this with a support ticket to http://support.skype.com/?_a=tickets&_m=submit to Billing/Payments

Ike,
Thanks for the info. I can't seem to find much reference to 'support tickets' but if it is this format
GQW: Skype Credit for Skype Groupds <<#18769-199714#>>
Then yes I have. If not please advise.
Anyway, I have sent a copy of the SWIFT payment instruction from my bank, proving that the money was in Skype's account on 15th May. I have sent this 3 times now.
Today, I got a reply telling me why it may have failed because my credit card might have been rejected for a number of reasons. But I didn't pay by credit card, as I keep telling them.
So I keep sending the bank confirmation of delivery to their account, and they keep telling me to check with my bank and send them the bank confirmation, so we are going round in circles.
Any way to get them to find the money of ours that they have lost ?
Regards
Sean
