Hi,
i just installed Skype on my slackware box, i can login, can attach my friends and so on, but one problem- if i try to call or pick up it says Failed and that's all! I thought about sound card problems, but nothing, my sound card works pretty nice!
Help!!!

Sounds like a permissions on /dev/dsp

Try this:

username@r0ot:~$ su
Password:
root@r0ot:/home/username# chmod 666 /dev/dsp*
