Hi,
I'm building a set of training courses related to Computer and Business Management Issues. We run these courses in the UK.
Part of the training process is to have Role Playing exercises for the candidates undertaking the training course. As part of those Role Playing exercises we sometimes introduce actors to play the part of other clients, managers, general public etc.
I'm investigating the use of Skype to provide remote access to the Actors for the course members, either during the day during course hours or out of hours when the candidates are preparing their case studies.
You do not have to be a super IT technician to undertake this role, but you do have to have excellent spoken english without a heavy accent. You must be able to read a course role briefing document and remember it in detail. You do not have to have acting experience to undertake this role, though in some scenario's we may ask you to be angry, upset or even stupid.
A wide range of people could do this type of work, perhaps you are retired, a student, a part time worker, disabled or a Homemaker. Ideally you will have worked in a commercial environment and understand the basic principals of business operation. This is not a role for people trying to learn english. We do not normally use people under the age of 18, but it might happen in the future (with parental permission).
You will need to have facilities where you can work undisturbed and without interruptions on Skype, but above all you will need to be reliable. It will be useful if you have a SkypeIn number, but it will not be essential.
We will pay a fee to those taking part based on the amount of work involved, but you should not consider this as regular work. We will provide some training before you are exposed to the sessions. There will be no initial fee payable by yourself. There will be a selection process, so some people may not match our requirements.
