How do we obtain the IP address of people on our contact list?
For example, if we are using ActiveS, we can call
Access.GetFriendList() to get a list of friends. But the User object that we get does not seem to contain IP address.

you can't and you needn't. your application talks to the skype client, and skype client takes care of routing.

Hmm... but that would dramatically reduce what a plugin to Skype can do. So if both users have installed this applications that talks to Skype, how would one application going to talk to the other application without knowing the other party's IP?
