Hi

Hehe, Skype today we had a meeting about high video telephone costs (We are using picturetel with 3-4 ISDN lines all the day in 20-30 meeting rooms) and the conclusion was, that we can not completly change from traditionaly telephone lines because we have several Linux desktops... Decision was leave it as it is (nobody wanted to change over an technically unsupported solution)

So if Flextronics Hungary is not a big deal, then nothing...

It's not my money and the old telephone lines are working great!

can i suggest you all linux users to keep an eye on wengo (www.wengo.com)?

seems very nice project to me.

the NG release is still in development for now, but the final release is planned in a month...

it has nothing less then skype (except skype-in, but they said we'll have it), sms (even before skype), video, chat....
it supports linux and mac too.

Tried this, couldn't get it work on Mandriva and it seemed quite in developement stages. Maybe when it's released as a final.

Also tried the gizmo project with much the same outcome.

Settled for Ekiga, signed up with them and also fwd.pulver.com as well. Now I've got access to many people, full video calling and most of the bells and whistles that Skype couldn't or wouldn't provide.

As soon as my credit with skypeout is used up it's bye bye Skype. Antoher customer they have lost.
