Hello there. I recently installed Skype onto an Ubuntu system using the latest deb package Skype makes available to us (thanks!). Unfortunately, the only contacts I see are ungrouped. If I go to Send contacts, I can see all of my contacts so I know they got imported. Any suggestions?

You can try the following: close Skype, mv your ~/.Skype to something else (so that you could restore it later if necessary) and restart Skype. Then it should work exactly as a fresh installation on a new machine, meaning that it will import the contacts from the central buddy list.
