Hi

I'd like to setup a PBX at home that will give me more power and flexibility using Skype. Features that I'm looking for are:

- PSTN to Skype calls
- Skype to PSTN calls
- Skype - PSTN - SIP conference calls

Has anybody got this working or have any suggestions?

Hi friends,

Did I miss something? I did not see VoSky has any of the features list requested:

- Skype to PSTN
- PSTN to Skype
- Skype to SIP

Skype certified does not mean rich feature list. It could mean only "not violating Skype minimal technical requirements".

Please be sure to check it more carefully.

This program says it can connect SIP and Skype, but I don't have Windows to find out what it is about:

I think pinoy_thinker gave the wrong link. Its VoSky Exchange that has all this features you are asking for not just VoSky. Check out :http://solokay.blogspot.com/2006/04/voskytm-exchange-skype-solution-for.html

I will sure checkout skype2pbx too.

If some one really want to try, here are more solutions:

- SkyPBX from ZiPCOM Corporation: www.zipcom.com.tw/english/products/SkyPBX.htm
- SkyTrunk from Portech Communication: www.portech.com.tw/eweb/index1.htm
- Callfree Gateway from Spintronics: eshop.spin3d.com.tw/index.php/cPath/44

There are sure more to come along.

ZiPCOM, in particular, has exhibited SkyPBX at the Hong Kong Electroinc Fair, Spring 2006, April 14-17.

I did not see VoSky has any of the features list requested:

1. Skype to PSTN
2. PSTN to Skype
3. Skype to SIP

SkyTrunk from Portech may offer all of these features.

Have fun with them. Seeing is believing.

I bought a skype, PSTN adaptor from ebay and been using without problems. It costed me USD 40 including shipping. You can check this listing for a similar product.

But lately I came across a software that can do this without any additional hardware. I tried their demo version, but could not make it work. Probably need to look into instructions more closely. This one is about USD 15.

Compared with these, I see the above options quite expensive. But again I am not looking for a corporate solution.

Hello
I have a trixbox / asterisk system that is for home use. I would like to use my skypeout for pstn calls only. With all other sip providers all you need is the sip address ie Registrar : sip.voipbuster.com, your user name and password. Can I get info somewhere?
Please don't respond with any software addons or skype for asterisk.
