I have an ibook G4 and just got skype. I tried out echo 123 and could hear the woman's voice but it was broken and came in and out. I checked the preferences and everything seems okay. WHat am I doing wrong? Please help! Would really appreciate that.

Router? which type? wireless?
broadband or dial up?
XP with SP2?
CPU?
"CPU in use" in the moment you talk to echo123?
"RAM in use" in the same time?
