I know my problem is not so drastic as others with no voicemail I am with a new Skypein plan with included voice mail and testing things out a bit. I leave myself voicemail to test and it did not appear for 3+ hour after I created it. The timestamp was also definitely wrong.

Voicemail has recently started to mulfunction for me. Messages either arrive with a several hour delay or don't arrive at all. This morning, when I logged in (Skype wasn't running during the night), I got a voice message from someone, but then I called my number and left a message, and it wasn't delivered. I tried doing it several times.
We are also experiencing this delay. We are also SkypeIn users with the free voice mail. We're testing it because we've planned on using it for a new product line that we launch next week. This kind of delay will make us look very bad on customer service. Is this a constant thing or just an temporary problem?
It's a temporary problem, but it happens. Sometimes messages aren't delivered at all. I wouldn't recommend you use this service for business.

Also, when I am sitting at the computer with Skype on,the past few days Skyp In is not ringing but going automatically to voicemail. It is very inconvenient especially when I don't get the message that someone has tried to call.
Anybody know of any fixes other than rebooting? I am not aware of the problem until 3 or 4 hours later. I don't have any phone other than Skype and it's a problem if I have someone in front of the building with a delivery or something. Thanks, DSC

DSC, I also had the problem with Skype not ringing and determined that it happened when I brought my laptop from hibernation. Skype restored some aspects of its connection (it displayed contacts that were on), but it didn't accept calls. Terminating the program and relaunching it fixed that.
Roman, Thanks will try it again with a complete shut down. I hope it solves the problem. I got one message yesterday 6 hours late! DSC
