I was just informed about skype and find it very intriguing. My question is that I have a 56K modem and was wondering if I purchased one of the USB phones, would I get reliable and clear connections?

A lot of people on here say yes and a lot say no. If you want to use the new version with audio/video forget it it will not work with both.

The best thing to do is download it try it on pc2pc call which are free and see for yourself before you spend your money on a phone.
