Folks,

thought you would like to hear about this, we've jsut come back from staying at the travellodge in Brighton. they have an in house cable movie system that I managed to get skype working through for no cost.

no other web services were available through it but skype worked perfectly.

all I did was unplug the ethernet cable from the wall socket and plugged mine in and to the laptop, bingo, skype came online but no web msn or email but least you can make calls at cheaper than what the hotel charge

please let me know if anyone has experience of this or tries it as well at any other travellodge with or without success
