I want to be able to get a copy of the audio that is taking place in a Skype conference call I'm holding while it's occurring. I'm not talking about simply recording the audio to disk, I want to be able to take the audio, while the call is going on, and send it to another PC. Note, I'll be doing this on the same PC as the one running Skype and holding the conference call.

Is there a way to do this with the API? If not, any ideas on how to get it done short of Y-cabling the sound card jacks?

accessing the sound stream via skype API is currently not possible.

however you can use a third-party solution (virtual audio cable) to "Y-cable" your sound card.
