Can anyone tell me if 'Skype Beta 2' is available for Mac OS please...
I've searched around but can't seem to find any reference.....my Son has a Mac and I have Windows, although we can chat with Skype we can't use our web-cams to see each other!!.....
Any info would be appreciated Thanks..
Michael.

I don't think so but ask on the Mac forum they should tell you.

Yup. That's the standard answer.... go away and lodge your complaint where we don't have to hear it.... where indeed nobody will hear it.
It really is amazing how long it is taking for 2.0 to appear on the Mac.... and even when it does, I suspect it will lag the Windows version in a great many areas such as personalization, and hardware devices with which it can interface. Patience is wearing thin.
P.S To the moderators: Don't you dare move this thread to that backwater known as "the MacOSX forum". This is about Skype's committment to multi-platform, and you would never consider moving a thread to a separate Windows forum.... oh wait, there is no separate Windows forum ! Maybe that's a clue. I have an idea, why don't we move elsewhere all the threads that are pertinent only to features in 2.0 or Windows! Here's why: there wouldn't be anything left to talk about in this general discussion forum where one is supposed to get the impression that all platforms are being developed similarly. I've lost faith in that promise unless something starts to happen real soon... whether in Skype itself, or hardware, or emoticons, or sounds, or buttons or whatever.

Have you not figured out that post eBay acquisition that Skype is no longer committed to full cross-platform support? Wake up!
The Intel/Skype lies are a case in point.
