"Date" recognition

is (partly) recognized as a phone numer making simple pages, that contain dates in this format, impossible to use.
It would be great to have an option for entering domains/webpages (wildcards) that should never be change by the plugin...

markup parsing

when using the special HTML markup (<-- sphoneid ....) the text is written before the number instead of tooltip
in firefox it works correctly...
in IE it only works if no HTML markup (= standard pages) is used

hiding toolbar
if the toolbar is hidden and the recognition is turned on, nothing happens.
I like it better like in firefox, where you can hide the toolbar and still get the number highlight function.

Thanks for the bug reports! However, we are unable to reproduce the partial dates you mention.
The German translation has quite a few French phrases - that will be fixed in the next build.

I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.1 (english) and Skype Toolbar 2.0.0.63

Thank you for pointing out those errors. Could you please try the latest version, published at:
http://www.skype.com/download/skypewebtoolbar/
The previous errors in the German translation are fixed, at least!

Yes, they should be correct as well as all the other 26 langues ...
It got a bit much there for a while ;-)

------A bug:
Open http://maps.google.com search by key "Tel.03" => Search result display. Turn ON Skype toolbar to search telephone number:
- The first page: tel numbers are highlight correctly
- Click to page 2, 3 ,4 => Tel number are not highlighted (current state of Skype still is ON)

Just tried the new toolbar

1) Problem remains
All dates when browsing - for example - the skype forum are converted to "impossible" phone numbers

2) Can you please add a blacklist (even better a blacklist with wildcards) so that for example you can add "*forum*" and then all urls containing "forum" are not skypified

Still there is a bug with IP addresses. Skype version: 3.6.0.244 (Polish), IE7@Vista.
For example whois results aren't well parsed
42-41-96-257 .cable.somthing.something (real ip changed )

The dates in the forum and whois results all look fine to me!
The country you are in is one of the factors being used to analyze phone numbers - can you please let me know which country you are in?
