Hi everybody

Since I speak Spanish I will try to explain this the best I can, I recently bought an ipq 3715 and since I am always travelling skype was the perfect solution while I am at the airports, the first day worked perfect without a single problem, but the next day I tried to conect and was not posible the program didn't open and it only showed "skype correamoon" on the upper side of the desktop next to the windows symbol.

I went to the part where you see if the program is running and it was, I choose "stop program" and nothing happens so I selected "end task" and again nothing....the program was still running, I decided to remove the program and do a new installation, and nothing..........even with the program removed at the running program window the skype was still running!!

Searching I found a folder named skype with skype files, the folder was at the "aplication data folder" on the main memory, the files inside that folder where inside a folder with my user name and are "call256, index2, message 256, profile256, user 1024, user16384, user256" if I try to run this files I can't, I get the answer "There is no aplication associated with....", if I try to delate this files I get this message "Cannot delete, there has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use..."

It's obvious that those files are the problem how I can remove them? or make my skype work again???

Thanks for any help!!

Hi correamoon,

These files cannot be the source of the problem - they contain your pesonal chats and contacts information. If you get sharing violation error, then probably Skype is still running.

To delete these files, please reset your device and try again.

If you install Skype we suggest you to install it on main memory not on storage card.

Sometimes such problems occur in low memory conditions, so make sure you have enough free program memory available before running Skype.

It sounds like it's time for a soft-reset of your device. That should hopefully fix the problem.

The reason you can't remove the files is because Skype is still running and is using them. The files contains you user data, such as contacts, options and other stuff. If you remove them, they will be replaced the next time you login to Skype.

Did you install Skype on external flash? In that case, try to install it on main memory instead.
