Anyone have this device and successfully made it work with skype??
I would like to know before i lay down 400$ +
Full Version: Pocket PC 6700Q
I have the 6700 (from Telus Mobility as I am from Canada) and have installed Skype--including the latest version--without any problems. It seems to run fine and I have it installed on the memory card.
As far as "successful use," I have only tested it by calling my laptop from the phone, and calling the echo test. It works pretty well...but I haven't tested it any further than that.
Besides Skype being able to run, it is a great unit

I am also from Canada, Ontario and would like to have your feedback as I would like to have this device too.
1) Did you try it over EVDO? If yes, how does it work?
I read some forums that say it doesn't work properly - in my opinion this would be all the cool part as you could use it everywhere (WiFi is limited to the hotspots or at home which is good but not so cool)
2) Did you check how much traffic is requiered for a call? If I take a 45$ voice&data plan (4MB of traffic included) from Telus how many Skype minutes would this allow?
