I've not yet confirmed this with a test scenario. Was speaking on iPhone, using headphones/mike, when I heard the 'ding' indicating an upcoming meeting announcement.

I looked at the phone and pressed the 'Close' button to clear the announcement. When I did, I was disconnected from my call and had to call back.

No question that any message notification breaks the Skype call.

But, I don't know if this is a bug, or if it is caused because the Apple OS suspends the program to display the notification message.

PS: Is there an official bug forum?

This was a shock to me also. So I am too stuck with a $45 bill ($35/year land/mobile call package + $10 fee just to verify texts from Skype to set caller ID as my mobile) yet no mention of this fatal flaw. I mean what a crock! Did hey think people would be OK with dropped calls when a text comes through or any other push message on the iPhone ? This is pretty much a scam in my book, as it makes the service useless for almost any call that one cares about... Family, business, etc- all at risk of cal drops. I'm starting a Facebook group soon to bring awareness of this issue to try to help others save their $ if they don't 'officially disclose his fact before letting users purchase the service! Please review the app a 1 star in the iPhone app if you are reading this.
