Over the weekend I was told my purchace had failed. I tried to repay since my credit card company had blocked my account and I thought that was the issue. That was cleared up and now, lo and behold, I have paid for 2 online numbers when I only wanted one!

I want to request please a refund of the last payment submitted to you, which was processed November 2nd, 2009. Please refund me $30 and disregard the 2nd phone number issued to me.

To interrupt the conversation, may I ask with regards to these 2 points just how one is supposed to make contact with Skype when, despite assurances that they will 'reply shortly', support e-mails are ignored? Or when a major telecommunications provider does not have a helpline? I even see that wikipedia has a paragraph, (with references), dedicated to the poor performance of Skype's customer service.

Thank you south of the lakes. Had there been ANY customer support at all available to me the issue would NEVER have even occurred. This has taken up way way way too much of my time and if I can't get my refund my CC company will be notified of the dispute, which is never a good thing for the company involved.

Hello,
If, having filed with Customer Support, a user doesn't receive a reply and/or the issue is not resolved I will escalate it within Skype and seek an early conclusion.
