Hello,
Whenever an external program tries to access Skype via the API, skype asks:
"Another program is trying to use Skype: A program "program name" is trying to connect to Skype. Do you want to allow it?"
Below there is a box "Do not ask me again". I tag it, but every time that Skype starts it asks the same question again, for the same program.
I assume this is a bug... But is there maybe an option to add manually the name of the program so that it won't be asked again?
Thanks in advance,
Pupin.

So no one else is experiencing this problem or has a solution?

Are you referring to Skype for Linux or Skype for Windows? The latter allows you to manage the list of API-connected apps (you can bring up a list by clicking on a small icon near the bottom of the Skype main window).

Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
I am referring to Skype for Linux v1.2.0.18.

Well never had that problem since there is no skype api im aware off that i could be usefull under linux. Wish they would make Festoon for linux so one can finally videocall with skype.
Its a bit silly question if hes talking about the windows version when he is posting in the linux forum. Oh well Skype seems to be dying anyways. no update for forever.. besides some unoticebel bugfixes

the current linux skype GUI doesn't have this feature, but you can edit the application access lists in your config.xml (typically ~/.Skype/yourskypename/config.xml), check for key UI/API/Authorizations.
