Hi,

I got my Dualphone. I figured out how to add a USB audio device, and the module is loaded. In the mixer, I have a "Cordless USB Phone" and I can control volume levels. In Suseplugger, I can see:
CODE
RTX Telecom A/S Cordless USB Phone
It is listed under "Unknown". It also says:
CODE

Available    Yes

Configured  New

Active         Yes

And on the Resources tab it says:
CODE
Speed 0bps

The phone shows up in lsusb.

I think I might be close to making this work.

In Skype, I chose /dev/dsp1.

However the phone isn't doing anything. I pick it up while calling Echo 123 and press the green PC button, hoping to hear something, but I hear nothing.

The phone says "PC not available" but maybe this is just normal because I'm not using the software suite it expects me to be using.

If SuSE knows its there and even lets me use a mixer for it, why would it not work? Any ideas?

I tried krecord, using the USB cordless phone as the input/output sound device, and I don't hear anything in that either.

Thanks very much.

You were only one more keypress away bigsmile.png from 16bit audio! Enjoy!
