When I used Debian Sarge I usually was able to run skype using artsdsp

artsdsp skype

And I had no problem with mixing...

Now on Ubuntu Breezy I get segmentation fault (with and without -m option)
I run KDE

Have anybody had success running Skype with any OSS Warper on Breezy?

I'm on Debian sid (on KDE 3.5 and now 3.5.1 ) and I get the same seg fault. It is a common problem reported across these forums and across various distributions. There is no solution other than to run skype without arts and set arts to relinquish the sound system after a few secs. This only partly works as you will drop incoming calls when you have sound playing etc.

this is "a known problem". artsdsp has a lil' problem.
