Hi all!

Me and my sister, who are trying to have a video call, are having problems with it. First I must say that everything worked fine before two weeks ago. Than after no updates installed or anything my sister was not able to send her video to me. Mine was working fine so at least she saw me. Audio part was working ok and still is. Than after a week, I also had problems with video. When I go to Options->Video settins, video is ok, but when I try to connect to my sister, video is black and saying "starting video" or something like that and after a few seconds moves to only audio call. Yesterday was even freezing. I tried to install the latest version but nothing changed. Then I downloaded 4.1 hot fix #3, but everything stayed the same. Now I have version 4.1.0.179 installed. Win XP Pro SP3, 2GB ram, Athlon 64 3200+, Labtec Webcam Plus with latest drivers installed, ADSL 4Mbps/512kbps. What should I do to make video part work again?

Once again I must say that It's all weird because it all worked fine and just stopped working at some point.

I am having the same issue, yesterday morning (10/24) skype vid was working fine, had to restart comp, restarted vid convo but my camera wouldnt come on..audio and text chat were working. went into the options, video,, everything was working fine there and thru the cams own software. It just sits there at "starting video"

I am also having video issues. Under the tools>options menu under video setting, the webcam comes in clear and perfect. But when I try to make a video call, it say "video stream in incorrect format." This is also happening on my daughters comupter in Florida, but my other daughter got it to work fine on her computer. All camera are Sabrent WCCK cameras. Please help us.

Just search it in google. But make sure its safe

I have dl version 3.8.0.188. I installed it but I still have to test it. As before, video is working in Video Settings. I will let you know if this works for me.

Yesterday I have tried to webcam myself through skype, but even now that I have installed older version it didn't work. Now I dont even have icon or option "Video Call". Again, in video settings of Skype, video from webcam is normal and working fine. Before I upgraded to the newest version, my skype video calls worked fine, but than one day they stopped working. At that time I thought i will fix the problem with new version so I installed it, but it didnt work. Now that I have downgraded Skype to older version, everything is the same -> it doesnt work. Voice calls worked fine then and now. Any suggestions?
