Full Version: Shocking familiarity in French!

Hi there,

I have been badly surprised by the 4.1 installation pop-up window greeting me by a "Salut!". angry.png
This is of an extreme familiarity in French when it comes from a supplier!

I would even not expect it from a "lolly pops retailer" greeting a 3-years-old kid in his shop in France!

The English version uses "Hello!" which translates into "Bonjour!".
Whereas "Salut!" translates into "Hi!".

Cheers,
Guillaume

Should it say "Bonjour" if you install Skype after your evening meal?
